Look Ma...no hands!
On a day trip to a beautiful State Park in the Hocking Hills area of
Ohio, we realized how much Maddie enjoys the outdoors. She loves being
outside and could ride in this backpack for hours!

We picked a great day for this trip...just as the leaves were
turning. This was right after lunch so everyone was even happier!
Maddie the botanist
Here, Maddie shows Dad how to distinguish the leaves of this tree from the
others. He would tell you what kind of tree it is, but he already forgot
what she told him!
Maddie's first Halloween
This Halloween, Maddie had the great privilege of having Winnie the Pooh
over for a visit...notice the round tummy full of honey...wait, this just
in...that actually IS Maddie in a costume! Sweeter than the average bear!
Maddie gets ready for Poppy
Maddie hadn't seen her Grandpa since she was three months old (four
months ago), so she asked if she could see pictures of him before his visit in
November.
Maddie and Poppy get reacquainted
This was taken about an hour or two after Poppy arrived - looks like
everything went smoothly, eh?
