Maddie gets to know her Papaw
Is that how you spell that Papaw (Chris' Dad)? He enjoyed holding
Maddie and then commented, "She kind of has that 'boy' look about her,
doesn't she?" He'll never live THAT one down!
Maddie meets Bogart
Bogart is the more affectionate of our two cats, and is the only one who
has shown any interest at all in Maddie. He has sniffed her literally 3
times for about a second each. I was lucky to catch this one!
Maddie takes her first bath at home
She was none too pleased with this little sponge bath, which was all she
was allowed to have until the stump of her umbilicus fell off.
Mom seems pretty happy to have Maddie
Dad will take credit for this shot that speaks for itself!
There, there Maddie
Maddie is comforted by her Poppie (George's Dad). She really does
like him - I think he had garlic and onions for lunch or something.
Maddie takes a nap
This position is one of her favorites to sleep in - believe it or
not. Early on, she took lots of naps in this portable bassinet in our
family room and pretty much slept through everything that happened down there!
Maddie is COOL
"OK Dad, you go get the skiboat ready and I'll be along after I grab
a quick snack...wink, wink."
