Welcome Maddie!
Hey, we don't call her MADdie for nothin! About 10 minutes old, and
everyone noted how loud her little voice was (she must get that from her Mom)!

Maddie actually IS an angel!
The nurses in the hospital wrote the little inscription you see on the
card attached to her bassinet. She looks tired, eh? Well, it was
sort of a rough day!

Maddie's Proud Papa
Dad doesn't look TOO happy-proud-excited-etc. here, eh? Well, in
case you couldn't tell from the stoic expression he's wearing, he certainly was
all those things and more!

Maddie catches some shut-eye
She seems here to be sleeping much like her father does, which is to say
- deeply. It's probably because her Nana (George's mother) is holding
her. Nana had plenty of practice on her own 7 kids!

Maddie checks out her Mom
"Mom...is that you? I can't really see farther than about 12
inches away right now and everything's in black and white...is that really
you?" "Yes, Maddie...it's me."

Maddie relaxes
"YAAAAWWWWWNNN...OK then...if that's really you, then I guess I'll
go to sleep now..."

Maddie goes home!
Mom and Dad were thrilled to go home, but Maddie was perhaps a little
uncomfortable in her going home outfit (the open mouth here does NOT denote a
yawn).
