Maddie the Thinker
Maddie is fond of saying "Know thyself...or at least know where thy
next meal is coming from..." (Maddie is a BIG girl...above the 95th
percentile in length, weight, and head size)

"DAD...isn't it bad enough that you dressed me like a boy
today? Now you have to go and take ten thousand pictures of me too?!?

"So if I stick my bottom lip out like this people will feel sorry
for me? Cool..."

Maybe Dad was a couple of minutes late with lunch today...
Maddie says "Hi! How ya' doin'?"
Another one of our favorites, this one was taken by Mom. Maddie has
"belly time" almost every day to help her learn how to hold her head
up. This was a really good day!

What teenager doesn't have a shot like this gathering dust somewhere in a
drawer until he or she brings home a date to meet Mom and Dad? Beware
Maddie!
Maddie meets Uncle Steve
For July 4th, we all visited Atlanta to see George's family. This
was the first time Uncle Steve got to hang out with his new niece! If
Maddie looks a little cautious, it may be because she's afraid Uncle Steve will
want to discuss Nietzsche or start quoting from Beowulf or something.
Maddie relaxes with Aunt Jeanette
Maddie looks more comfortable with Aunt Jeanette. That's probably
because Aunt Jeanette is a dental hygienist, and Maddie won't be getting teeth
for several months yet (yes Aunt Jeanette, we are scrubbing Maddie's gums with a
wet washcloth to help prevent plaque)!
